It all started in 1975,
when a dear friend of mine whom I was making childrens toys with named me, "Ome" the elf with a long eee sound. This name was derived from the last three letters in my official name Jerome. We had been making small wooden toys for children, giving them all away each year to charities and friends from then on as I made toys I called myself "Ometoys". Over the past several years I started making larger toys for family and friends, bean bag toss games to be precise. Recently I had been asked to make wooden cremation urns for friends and family, this venture I have called "Restinme" custom wooden cremation urns. So I have decided to create a new business that would include both products and call it, Ome Woodworks. In the following pages you will see examples of Ometoys beanbag games and Restinme custom cremation urns that I have made, I hope you find something that interests you.
